For the newest edition off Blkvis Atelier, we stepped into the ring with pro boxer Edward Dönmez, whose unique blend of sophistication and street smarts is a true inspiration. And a natural embodiment of the Blkvis aesthetic behind our current fall collection. 

With close to 100 fights under his belt, Edward is just getting started. He hails from Cologne and represents the hustle, heritage and authentic spirit of Turkish migrant-workers, on his Instagram channel as much as in real life. 

Diagnosed with a mild form of Tourette's at a young age, Edward learned to navigate life through the dedication and discipline that come with boxing. 

“Coming from a place of insecurity, boxing became my safe space - and has guided me towards confidence. Sometimes I hate the sport because it can be hard and scary, but that’s also why I love it: you come out stronger. It’s strange, but the ring is where I feel most at ease.”
